The Tolupanes live high in the mountains of Montana de La Flor in Honduras. They are the oldest indigenous group in all of Honduras. They live in extreme poverty, removed from standard civilization. Their huts were made of sticks, mud, torn tarps, dirt floors, and roofs made of Manaca (palm leaves). They suffer from starvation, malnutrition, and disease. Young Strength Missions has joined with some incredible partners to supply and build homes and feeding centers throughout the mountain. These homes, for many, will be their first. For others, it will be replacing old, broken-down, and unsafe huts that currently exist. The feeding centers provide a safe place and opportunity for the community to gather and have a meal supplied, prepared, cooked, and served by our in-country partners. Please help us with this life-changing project and transform the life of a family in the Tolupanes community. You can support our mission here
